We compare the Acrocanthosaurus models from the two heavyweight Dino producers: Papo and Rebor.

I just received my Rebor Acro in the mail 3 days ago. Love its paint scheme better than the Papo's, also the head looks nicer and the skull shape is proper. The Rebor is a little bigger. Only complaint I have is that its feet are a little too big, but, apparently, that's to help it stand with greater stability.

both are so cool. Make more comparisons :-)

Rebor for me, it looks more visually arresting to me. Also seems more believable as an animal

I'm really happy that they make them in scale with one another. Some other papo/rebor comparisons would be cool! Maybe even schleich

The Papo figure has a much more accurate head sculpt. (look at Acro skull pictures) and more realistic body proportions. (especially the feet and sail) and a more realistic skin texture that shows off subtle detail much better. Rebor
figures in general still have standing issues due to warped legs. what i
do like about the Rebor figure is that it appears to have a longer
tail. and its paint job.

One interesting detail on the Rebor: some paleontologists believe that the Acro's spine supports a hump rather than a fin. Rebor apparently decided to address both and make their acro with a fin that widens considerably as it gets closer to the spine.

I like m both. Even though Papo is still the more affortable one, Rebor isn't even all that expensive for what they deliver. But it's nice to know that they actually match up in size :D

I go with Papo. They are both spectacular, and I like the other one's paint job more, but I love Papo's version's pose.

They're gorgeous, the Papo one is my favorite one though, Rebor's looks way too bumpy.

I just love the Rebor, it's not in an odd pose and it's awesomely imposing.

Papo makes unbelievably detailed dinosaur figures at very affordable prices; you can nit pick all you like, but most dinosaur figures have some inaccuracies, including the wallet busting brands which I will not mention here.
Papo, in my opinion is the go to company for highly detailed dinosaur figures at very reasonable prices. If detail is important to you but you don't have a huge bankroll these figures cannot be matched, and their detail ranks up there with the most expensive brands, so why look any further? These are absolutely amazing replicas.

So which one do you think is the overall better figure?
Also you should totally do more videos like this. I'd like to know which figures you think are the best between Rebor, Papo, Safari Ltd., etc.

I can't decide which I'd like to have more if they were both the same price. Papo's has the better pose while Rebor has the better colors.

The rebor model is more accurate by far, it does habe stupidly oversized feet though..

Great video as always!
Will you make a review video of the horizon kit model of the T.Rex?
As far as I can tell from your "JURASSIC WORLD® | 1:24 JP Staff Jeep Wrangler" video, the horizon kit is one of the best looking T.Rex models I've seen so far.

Rebor. No contest. Looks much realistic and much more accurate (besides the feet) and beastly in comparison. The Papo one looks like a Child's toy with much more detail imo, but not in a bad way.

Please do more Papo and Rebor Comparisons within the same species. Still undecided on which company I prefer

Great idea to compare these two Acros together.

The rebor looks more accurate but really warty looking, I think that's because of the big scales

I have the hardest time making my Rebor Acrocanthosaurus stand. It's back foot is so much higher that it tumbles down every time it's set up.
