Everyone complaining about not being able to go on vacation now because of the horrific weather NOLA has now is so disappointing. Maybe show some empathy for those who live in the city? Also, get to know a states' weather patterns and disaster history before going on break. Especially when it's a city below sea level during hurricane season. Not the wisest decision.

Still the greatest City ive ever lived in. The crime portrayed in the media NEVER affects you, the home prices are the best in the nation consistently, the nightlife is eclectic and electric, and the people are amongst the friendliest. The garden district puts you on another lush, green planet with narrow streets ranked with tall oak trees and the food is the best in the world. Everyone made a big deal out of this storm but the people of new orleans were vigilant....and took the time off to have hurricane parties!

Bienville had to wait for flood water to recede before he planted the French flag. This city has no business existing, and it soon won't exist with continued sea level increases.
