I have lived here in the philippines for more than 4 years . this is the best country in Asia to live in as a foreigner. Almost zero racism here. I can say this with confidence as a 34 year old black man who has traveled around the world and have experienced all sort of racism. but here, i am welcomed anywhere i go to in all sincerity and this is definitely my second home. the people are so amazing. I pray they get through this tragedy especially the people that lives in Batangas and Tagaytay area of the philippines.

The guy cleaning his van was smiling while telling us his situation; that it hard to get food, the roads are slippery, they have no water. I visit the Philippines every year. They are by far most happiest people even in bad times; and especially in good times

when you follow the history, , the whole lake is actually the whole crater of the volcano before, , it is once a supervolcano, the middle part of the volcano sank up, and the top part which is now the taal volcano left in the middle of the crater became the smallest volcano.

Visited Taal Volcano in November 2019 and it had hot geysers and fumes coming up and the locals told me this was a sign by the volcano mountain as it speaks to them with rumbles and smoke

2:00 and yet he smiles. I find it so amazing that he can smile in a situation of such. Knowing me, I would be in a panic. I have a lot to learn and hope to one day have that kind of peace. First world problems can spoil you! Prayers to all my brothers and sisters in the PI.
