The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis bordering what is now El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. Its sides climb at an angle of slightly less than 52 degrees, rising to a summit of 480 feet. But how did they manage to manoeuvre 2.5 tonne blocks to such an incredible height without the crane or the block and tackle system? It was a challenge to the ancient Egyptians and still remains a mystery to modern archaeologists.

Man who else wished they could go back in time and witness these things being done along with other stuff.

What is also mind-boggling is that there are intricate tunnel systems inside, which further illustrates how skillfully engineered they are.

This just shows you how far behind we have fell in architectural advancements or the Egyptians were so well before their time, either way what a magnificent display of engineering prowess!

I’ve been lucky to travel to 21 countries.
The Pyramids of Giza is the only structure that truly stood up to the hype (The Sistine Chapel, a close second)
I was in awe at the base of the Pyramids.
It was a marvel!

One minute into the video and the very first question of "how they moved the stones" is still not known LOL.
Okay so good start team!

Probably one of the first places I would go if I could go back in time, to see how the hell they built the pyramids. Fascinating.

One can only imagine how spectacular the newly finished pyramid would have looked, even in today's world if you built that it would be a marvel to look at, thousands of years ago tho you just can't fathom how unbelievable that would have looked it's absolutely bonkers what they achieved hahah 🤣

It is evident that the ancients had superior technology. Those stones are cut with laser-like accuracy. About how they were stacked on top of each other to create this monumental marvel, Legend has it that the ancient Egyptians knew how to use acoustic frequencies to create forces of levitation.

I’m sure They had tools and advanced technologies. I’ve seen their things, they made for daily use, in the museum i Cairo, it was such a sofisticated design. Amazing.

did you consider that ancient egyptians built the pyramids from inside out? those blocks were made from sand and mixture of rocks poured on a mould (just like cement) to have the shape of the blocks.. that's why it's very smooth and accurate..

These are the same people that can figure out how the universe was created nearly 14 billion years ago, how life started on Earth nearly 5 billion years ago but can’t figure out how these pyramids were built 6, 000 years ago. Ok got it!

glad the builders 20-100, 000 + years ago made this structure for all to try and figure out - one day it will be solved, the geology, the math, labour and astronomy do not lie - we just need someone to put it all together (this video is something to keep the thought ongoing)

I have no doubt they could build them. It just incredible how much manpower they put into it. It seems like such a waste but we still in awe of them thousands of years later.

We used a notched elevator cranking system that locked as individual blocks were raised. The lifting system was inside the pyramid and dismantled after construction.

Amazing. No tape measure no 2ft squares basic hand tools and perfect 90 degree angles. For someone who pipefits and pipewelds. Doing geometry is what i love and trigonemtry. Whoever lead everybody and you could say they were slaves but all of them were taught an important task and mastered it and everybody worked in unison to build this. Unless you do construction and deal with shapes, i cant fathom how this unknown skill is still being guessed by everyone. I love it.

I have seen on youtube a professional engineer working for a huge construction company admit that they could not do this even today with our tech. These ancients had something else going on that has been lost to time. I'm glad it is a mystery, it would be so boring otherwise, that's what endears me to Egypt and the Egyptians.

Ever heard of Ed Leedscanlin? Not only did he know how they did it, he also built what is considered the impossible by himself, at night, down in Florida. Coral Castle.

Egyptians should be really proud of their great history. This is just unbelievable and stunning. It's still a mystery how you guys built it.

Why does no one ever think that perhaps they were slightly more aware of tools than we give them credit for (its always assumed either they are super basic or alien level of knowledge), and that perhaps they had animal power in addition to humans? I never see this theory anywhere.

Unless you have seen the great pyramid with your own eyes, you can’t fathom just big it really is.
