Well Levi, this is the third season I have spent with you and honestly it feels like the most interesting one yet. First the "de-couple", now this system which looks like it could be really fun to track and watch develop. I'm really glad you take the time to look at all the forecasting models and take the "out there" HWRF seriously enough to bring us all the possibilities and explain them.
When I was a kid growing up in South Florida as part of the "plotter generation" and seeing first hand the devastation Andrew caused, it made me want to work for the NHC one day. As life happened I grew up and went into the military instead, got an Engineering degree, got out...etc. Through all of that I never lost my love or passion for tracking these amazing storms. I'm so glad to get to still live some of that vicariously through your coverage.

Hi Dr Levi---Thanks for your coverage on the developing storm. Please continue to keep up the great work!! I don't want anyone to get this but, LA has had enough this year. People here are already having fits. They are all saying"Oh no not another one" The local weather people are getting messages on social media. Saying the same things like "Here we go again" and "This is disgusting!!"

Wait, there's a forecasted massive trough and cold front that will last for two weeks in Louisiana. How is this not getting forced back east at this point?

Thanks, Levi. It's starting to get late in the season for a new storm, but it's not impossible. I'm in SE Alabama, so the placement and development of the storm is a little concerning for me.

I just hope it doesn’t hit LA, but I have a feeling the bad luck will continue 😣
