Impressive what the BBC and the Belgian tv company could achieve on what must have been a tight budget back in the day. Heavy reliance on acting abilities and quality scripting. This was a great series.

My pleasure mate, glad you enjoyed it. This was a series which featured a good bit of leather - the Luftwaffe Officer who appears in it is especially pleasing on the eye! I'll probably be doing more from it soon and I hope you enjoy them too :-)

I loved Secret Army, quality WW2 Drama and this episode has an original Sd.Kfz.10 HalfTrack which
highlights the lengths the producers went to for autenticity

Amazing to think this was made only 32 years after the end of world war 2! I remember the theme music but nothing else .I was 6 years old only.

Thanks Gary, glad you liked this one. It's actually from a BBC TV programme that ran for 3 series (1977-1979) called 'Secret Army', about a Brussels café and its staff who help downed RAF aircrew escape the clutches of the Nazis - and very good it was too. This was from series 3, an episode titled 'Just Light The Blue Touch Paper', broadcast on 10th November 1979. Did this show not make it to Holland?

Even if each episode has a few kills it's worth to combine them. It's a huge job, but don't hurry. We won't go away. And it's healthy to wait for something good :-)

Drag your weapon along the ground like that and you'll get mud in the end of the barrel. Not a great move when you end up wanting to open fire.

That was a real full English (Bullets-rich) Breakfast. And not only bullets, also knives and strangulation. The whole stuff. Some nice stripping end at 1:02. And then the end killings starting at 5:32. You have found another unknown movie and created again a superb clip. You spend your free time very well!

Shame it never got to Holland, it was a fabulous series - very well acted.

Yes, I do have all the episodes - though not every episode had massive shootouts, some of it was more about the 'cloak and dagger' stuff as they get the aircrew out. But there were usually a few kills each episode :-)

I'll slip in the odd scene now and again as it's very rare on YouTube!

Thank you so much for this video! I love it! It's always like christmas when you upload some movies I have never seen before. Great scenes. My favorite is the German in leather from 1:27 min. Love his leather gloved hands touching his weapon. That's so hot. Wish they killed him in that scene, that would have been even hotter ... :-)
