If Colombia was a true miss universe then she would have turned to Pia and took the crown of her own head and put it on Pia’s. That what a true miss universe would do.

Even though I am Columbian I don’t believe they should share the crown Miss Philippines totally deserved it. 🤗😁

I'm Australian and I believe that miss Philippines deserve to wear the crown.

Miss Columbia is beautiful, but, Miss Philippines is stunning!! She also performed perfectly. No competition there. She deserved the crown- hands down!!

Miss Philippines' answer was brilliant. She deserved it. I feel bad for Miss Colombia for the mistake but Miss Philippines really deserved it, she was genuine and smart

I have a feeling that if this was the other way around, Pia would have graciously taken off the crown and crowned Miss Colombia herself!! Nor would she have said that they should share the crown!!

First of all, not being rude, but the crown was never Miss Colombia's. It was Pia's crown. She should be thankful she got to wear the crown for a few seconds.

sharing the crown? It’s like asking someone if she can share her husband, lol

Why share a crown with someone who doesn't even deserve it?

Is it bad that Miss Philippines doesn't want to share the crown? Is it greedy to NOT SHARE the crown she won? IT IS NOT HER MISTAKE! WHY SHOUD MISS PHILIPPINES PAY FOR A MISTAKE THAT SHE DID NOT COMMIT? You haters saying she's greedy LMAO. She won the crown fair and square. It should be the other way around, it would not be fair for the winner at all! & I am NOT saying that Miss Philippines is the prettiest( this is for those who jump in to conclusion), this pageant is to represent their country. Yeah if I was in Miss Columbia's situation I WOULD DEFINITELY BE SO EMBARRASSED! But the idea of sharing a crown, I would turn that down, that would make me look selfish. Don't turn into bullies just because Miss Philippines doesn't want to share her crown. She worked hard for it just like everyone else, she participated in "Binibining Pilipinas" THREE times just to fight for Miss Universe, and help her country. When people say someone's ugly, like what do you guys look at? The inner or the outer beauty of a person? Some people are so fast at judging, so what if Columbia is prettier than Philippines? The prettiest doesn't always win.

I am Colombian, and I actually prefer Pia, she is more down to earth. Even If I love my country, sometimes we don't choose the best people to represent it. Hopefully the miss Colombia of this year will do a great job, she seems really humble, and social wise, which is the most important part of a miss universe, beauty is just a plus.

Why was colombia even thinking they should share the crown? It wasnt even meant for her in the first place! It was pias crown 👑, .

I understand Miss Colombia must be devastated, but you can see it just before the end when before any winner got announced, Miss Colombia was real proud and snotty, and when she turned her head away from Miss Philippines she seemed real stuck up, (during the announcement) that alone says something about one's attitude, and not a good thing either. Rewatch it, you can see it. All the while, Miss Philippines is very humble and very gracious, very professional, very decent, and looking at Miss Colombia the whole time and Miss Colombia was basically just blowing her off- snotty attitude.

No, I don't accept that crown is sharing two girls because Miss Colombia was announced as 1st runner up, she didn't win. Miss Philippines is real winner. It should be a one crown for real winner only, not 1st runner up. Just move on!

Pia is one the few genuinely charismatic people who leave an impression on your mind long after. She has a great presence on TV. Everything from her shocked facial look when she won the crown to her radiating warm smile to her answers here just seem so genuine and honest. I def don’t think she’s prettier than Ms. Colombia (Ms. Colombia has a near perfect body and that European standard face that is so popular among top models)...but Pia has something else entirely... she has that “it factor” that is so rare to find among other girls...the perfect combo of politeness, gracefulness, feminine grace, and classy charm. I can see why she was a clear winner by far!! Did u see how both the presenters were grinning their ears off at the end of the interview? Did you find yourself subconsciously smiling at the end of the interview by her answers? Yea... that’s what I mean by the “IT factor”

A crown is not something you can easily split and share. It's not like a plaque that you can write and honor multiple names. There's a reason why a crown is something put on somebody's head, because it symbolizes intellect, responsibility and headship. And that should be a head of one person who have the privilege, right and capacity to fulfill that responsibility. One crown, one head.
