Yep, tried this out a week ago. I thought when the cockpit had a substantial amount of water in it, it would be more stable. Wrong. The sloshing made it wobbly. I need to practice a few more times to get better.

That's the way I learned back in Denmark except we would straddle the Kayak from the very back and then inch forward, but it really works.
