The only "Q" country. The Black sheep of the Gulf. Doha and Dubai are arch-rivals. #Qatar has gone from a poor fishing community, to a massive metropolitan powerhouse that everyone is watching. Everything has to be perfect for that world cup. Oh and there are uterus statues. ENJOY THIS EPISODE!

The title "emir" is usually translated as "prince". He's not a king because his country is too small for a kingdom, it is like Liechtenstein.

I live in a Swiss city that hosts fancy and royal guests a lot, and I work at a Hotel there. One day The whole Hotel (five stars and reaaaly expensive) got cleard because the royal family of Quatar came to stay there. They rented the whole hotel!! I thought that they‘d be really snobby and classy but they actually just walked around in sweatpants for a week.

With these Middle Eastern super developed oil nations, I’m really curious to see how they will continue and develop in a (hopefully) renewable future.
