This week's episode takes us traveling north on the hunt for urban treasure. This was a really awesome opportunity to dig a early american privy. It turns out that this was a privy used for more than a hunderd years with the earliest use layer being from about 1780 to about 1810. Its incredible the early bottles that come out of this pit.You know what they say "One mans trash is another man's treasure." Thank you so much for watching, I hop you enjoy!

Cool dig! I see you found a rib-bone toothbrush and some pipe bowls. Dug some of those as well. Just eyeballing it, seems a little later than 1810s, maybe 1840s–70. I see a lot of feathered-edge Pearlware shards in digs in my area, where most of the stuff is 1860s–80s. HH

I only dug one privy and around 1790 1810 ish looks like a lot of work and I know it is when you get that deep, enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing it
