Papo || 2017 Dinosaurs REVEALED!

Something that I have just thought off about the Roaring Smilodon, I think that it should be part of Papo's fantasy line as a Manticore.

Not enough feathers on any of the theropods! Their feathered raptor sculpt from 2016 got my hopes up I guess.. And I completely agree about the smilodon. Lion manes are a fairly rare evolutionary trait and there is absolutely no reason to assume smilodon would have one.

I think I will get the cave bear first (it's Ursus spelaeus, not Arctodus), it's an indispensable model for my Pleistocene megafauna collection. I think it's my favourite from the set.
I really like the Polacanthus, I will get it too.
I don't like much the poses of Cryolophosaurus, Ceratosaurus, and Acrocanthosaurus, I think Papo should use bases sometimes. Acrocanthosaurus is my favourite of the three.
I don't like the Smilodon and the Dimorphodon.

So I will get the U. spelaeus, the Polacanthus and perhaps the three theropods.

Safari Ltd is my favourite 2017 wave.

For me repaints pass. Smilodon, Cave Bear and Dimorphodon, I'll see them in person and decide. However Polacanthus, Cryolophosaurus, Ceratosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus MUST HAVE! :D Good choice's, but sadly no Iguanodon or Gigantosaurus.

I like the Creatosaurus, the Acrocanthosaurus, the Cryo. The Dimorphodon and the cave bear BUT....WHY does the saber tooth cat have a mane for? Is there any evidence they had manes? If it didn't have a mane I'd probably get it along with the others I mentioned.

I also think that Creatosaurus might be the best of it's species as a figure anywhere! :)

Isn't that raptor the limited edition purple one from a while back? I've got mine here and I can't see much difference at all- the blue might be a tiny bit brighter, but that's about it.

a few im not fond of. think papo has been getting lazier with their products in recent years. i love the ceratosaurus if it wasnt for the connection on the tail. would have preferred this to be one solid piece or better covered up. looks like an average toy rather than a figure.

I like lot of Papos, Cave Bear is top, I used hate Mane Smilodon but it kinda grew on me.
