He wasn't unfolding, he was transforming. Megatron

Imagine a single franchise having arguably the greatest running back AND the greatest wide receiver at different times and wasting BOTH of their talents and careers. Both of them humble and just incredibly gifted.

So he's saying calvin is the most physically gifted wr ever

Every football fan needs to hear this story. The greatness that is Megatron isn't even fully understood or known. Plus, people really don't understand how beat up his body was during his final few years. The man wouldn't practice and still was a beast every Sunday.

Calvin Johnson is the reincarnation of Barry Sanders as a wide receiver

Calvin Johnson will always be the most dominant receiver ever. Humble, smart and classy. A dying breed in today's world. Was an honor to be able to watch him. And I hope his Med Marijuana business does well too. Very smart man

I’m a cowboys fan I remember him mossing the shit outta Terrance Newman & 2 other guys for a TD he really looked like a man amongst boys out there what’s crazy about this story is another Detroit legend Barry retired earlier because of the same thing the organization needs to get it together

It’s really unfortunate that he got stuck with that dumpster ass Lions team, if he was with a good team for majority of his career he would probably have 2 or 3 rings

Lions wasted his career and I’ll never forgive them

Watching calvin on tv was like watching a super human among men. The game where he lit up the cowboys secondary with 200 plus yards was a remarkable showing of megatron.

Saw Megatron at lions camp one year. Had front row corner end zone roped off on the field. Lucked out as thats where the wrs were working out at, and saw Megatron do route running and catch drills for 15 minutes right in front of me. Dude looked like a skyscraper mixed with a tornado. Unbelievable.

It's not that he didn't want to embarrass everyone. As the greatest reciever in the world, what would he gain to benefit by exceeding everyone's already lofty expectations of him? If the standard jump is 40" he'll give you 44. If the expected bench press is 15 he'll give you 20 then 'tap out'. What he's doing is an astute game theory technique; never appear too perfect. It breeds silent enemies and natural jealousy/envy. He did just enough to lead by example and remind everyone who he is while staying in character
