What a fuckin song to conclude a band... So much emotion, so much energy. Not only does it perfectly encapsulate the sound of nirvana, it goes beyond that. We will never get another person like Kurt Cobain again

Those of us who grew up with Nirvana will never forget hearing this song for the first time in 2002. Came out of the blue like a lightening bolt.

It's easy to say but, like Krist said himself in a interview, Kurt could do anything, he was a greate muscian but also a great artist with paint/drawing, i would loved it if he just stopped the music in 1993/1994 and went to become a artist to draw or paint .This way he would have been at home with his daughter and would not have that much pressure if he just made art with no name on it.

This song is raw, haunting, and so high octane. I love how the chorus is just splitting feedback and drums with screaming vocals. Kurt knew how to write a song better than most writers of these days. Sorely missed by all. RIP KURT

27 years he lived. And 27 years we lived without him.

Damn, how the time flies.

I will never bother you
I will never promise to
I will never follow you
I will never bother you
Never speak a word again
I will crawl away for good
I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
No thought was put into this
I always knew it would come to this
Things have never been so swell
I have never failed to fail
Pain
Pain
Pain
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
I'm so warm and calm inside
I no longer have to hide
Let's talk about someone else
Steaming soup begins to melt
Nothing really bothers her
She just wants to love herself
I will move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
No thought was put into this
I always knew to come like this
Things have never been so swell
I have never failed to fail
Pain
Pain
Pain
Pain
Pain
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know your rights
You know you're right
You know your rights
You know your rights
You know your rights
Pain

I used to cry to this song when I was 10ish cause I had diagnosed depression and this song hit hard even before I knew what the lyrics ment. Still hits me hard to this day

I'm reading Dave Grohl's book (yes, buy it!) and he mentioned this song, which was recorded in January 1994. This is how I arrived here. Watching this video makes me regret all the more never seeing Nirvana live in concert. Don't take things for granted that they'll always be there.

Rest in Peace, Kurt. 🕯️

Two of my favorite Nirvana lyrics:
“I’m worst at what I do best.”
“I have never failed to fail.”

There is something in this song that I cant describe: the emotion from the voice and the instruments. It makes me feel angry but calm at the same time. I get goosebumps. Does anyone know any song that feels just like this? I need more of it.

I tried everything, I put myself in all the possible shoes, I eye blinded the art in every aspect....and still can't get why someone would dislike this masterpiece.

Watching this physically hurts. You're so badly needed today, Kurt.

One of the best rock songs of all time...the most haunting rock song ever made for me. The band ended at the peak of their game, on the top of the world...this song was recorded in just one take, and the band just screams raw power. Just beautifull, so real. Miss you Nirvana! This band changed the world for the better, and it continues...saved many lives.
