Doug, the founder of the 'Lost Runners Society" leads a group ride on the Cowichan Valley Rail Trail on Vancouver Island, Canada. We start our loop in Duncan, have a stop at Mayo Lake where we realize we have 'lost' a few members of the group. We all meet up in Cowichan Bay for coffee and a snack, and stumble upon the Duckie Derby race. We did not stay for the Duck drop, or for the race. We then ride to Glenora, then back to Duncan (after a stop for ice-cream). We have a fun day and all were accounted for in the end :)
