It is sad this maestro didn't clarify that capoeira was created by slaves as a fighting style disguised as a dance. It was only considered a criminal thing after slaves started fighting back the Portuguese.

1) I don't train in either of these styles, but I love watching them in action. And that goes for every other style as well.

And

2) This has become one of my go-to videos to watch whenever the news gets me down, and when the world just seems so negative.

Great martial artists chilling and learning from each other without any ego. They are so well coordinated in their own styles which helped when learning something new.

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art from slaves over five hundred years ago it’s called capoeira because the jungle they went to train in was called capoeira. It looks like a dance because for the slaves martial arts we’re illegal and they couldn’t practice it mastre Bimba made the first legal capoeira academy about 50 something years ago?

That's the China I'd love to see more :
Open-minded, exchanging culture, and actually genuinely interested to share knowledge and to learn from the other.
Such a refreshing breath of fresh air from their politics which is going completely the opposite way. And of course, it had to be coming from martial artists, practitionners of one of the best ways humans have found to communicate with each other.

Interesting to see that these masters left their ego and showed an open mind that unfortunately not all master posses. If only everyone tried to be a bit like this
