That’s “time lapse.” “Laps” are those things you do running around in a stadium or swimming in a pool.

For your final cut off an 1/8" bit could have easily done
that in two passes (1/4" each) if your material is 1/2" PVC.
The rest is perfect though.

Very interesting video demonstration. I will be learning CNC on one of these machines very soon and this type of sign making is just where I want to begin. I have a lot to learn about CNC but I learn quickly once I get my hands into things. What was the substrate that you used in this video and about how long did this process actually take to finish the carving? I will be using wood and Corafoam once I get started.
