Very interesting. I’m sure as a child remember if ever went past that area saw the 3 towers. What vast expanse of land. There must have been so many memories. What history there.

The transition of the entrance at the start of this vid is the best I’ve ever seen, drove past many times and get excited at the old walls
Still on the perimeter never mind the inside!! Thank you for doing this one, remarkable! Well done Clarky!!

That was brilliant, I remember the cooling towers being demolished, sad time in retrospect. Hope you have copyright on your pics its not expensive. You go to a lot of trouble to bring these films and pics together, especially if you were to publish a book on lost heritage of Salford, Manchester etc., would love to see a book or exhibition of your work. I have spent a week as I am on annual leave looking at your films, I have got nothing done but have chilled out and enjoyed everything I have seen you should be very proud of what you done..Peace

Mint these vids mate, love your proper enthusiasm. Loads of stuff we used to explore as kids in Wigan in the late 80's / early 90's, wish youtube was invented back then and that I had filmed it all.

Just brilliant
Blows my head off to see this,
My late father in law worked here for many years,
he retired in 1989 he used to work nights there and at bed time he used to shoot a torchlight over to duchy to his kids and wife to say good night, ,,my wife lived on duchy all her life until he late teens when we met..
Just amazing makes me wana do what you
Keep it up quality

The big building on the left as you walk through the main gates was the training school for the power station in the 80s/90s I've been in when i use to deliver mail there and seen some impressive looking equipment, it bothers me that building like those will never crumble so why not convert to living accommodation as opposed to letting them rot, very sad.
