I love seeing videos like this, I just recently joined the hobby and bought two recasts before really knowing that legit/recast was a thing. I've decided my next purchase will be legit, but I still want to love my recast girls and share them, so its nice to hear other people share their stories and experiences with sharing recasts. I'm sure Ill make enemies but I look forward to making friends who ACTUALLY care about just being excited to bring their dolls to life and share them regardless of where they came from.

Siyaya! you are my dollie friend in my head lol. I have been in this hobby going on a year and while I understand the issues with purchasing a recast (I actually own one myself) I still do not to this day understand why people are so vicious towards those that do own them. At the end of the day, this is a hobby. We are putting money into owning these things. Just because someone owns a recast doesn't mean its gonna stop others from eating or breathing or being able to walk and live their lives. I think people need to get over this issue and realize at the end of the day we are putting lots and lots of money into a doll. These companies are not paying us to own these things we are giving them money and lots of it and hating or being mean to another person over a hobby is just one of the (and I have heard and seen plenty) stupidest things I have ever heard of in my life. This is like the only hobby out of all my hobbies where things like this happen. We are all "adults" in this hobby but a lot of people need to grow up.

TBH you shouldn't have to say whether they are recast or not... I literally couldn't give less shits haha. you do you girl, it's just a doll, and I fully support you no matter what. You're a cool person and a doll has nothing to do with your character. Personally though recasts aren't for me, mainly bc of all the bitching from other people that goes along w/ owning one. 😎 ❤

Honestly, if everybody just minded their own business this whole recast issue wouldn't be such a big deal, like can't you just appreciate that the person shares a hobby interest with you and treat them well? smh. But at least the community has people like you in it and I agree with all you said 100%

i would NEVER buy a recast first hand. but if she was this perfect doll that you cant get anywhere else and her color is exquisite, and shes 110% perfect for customization AND second hand? YES. i don't judge those who disagree.... i do feel it is theft to buy them first hand, but some people feel differently and that's okay. and i love buying damaged dolls to repair, dye, and customize;... i just only buy them in extremely rare situations.
