When a world power deftly threatens you by conscripting thugs to compromise the elected government of your powerful ally, it is natural to move and defend your interests and eliminate any threats to your welfare.

Crimeans were dreaming about it for 23 years! They extremely happy to join to Mother-Russia, because they are Russians, an most of them - Russian officers, navy, and their families. They are always were loyal to Russia. And if you will read history, you will find that Crimea - Russian land. In every city there is residence of Russian tsars. After f...g "perestroyka" drunk traitor Eltsyn signed papers that Russian Crimea belong to Ukraine. People of Crimea were betrayed, they were in shock to wake up in the other country! Ukrainian nationalists were abusing them all of this 23 years. But miracle happen and millions of people in Russia and in Crimea now happy. And Putin is a hero of the nation.

This little piece of speech of our president and he does not carry meaning, only fragments. You can find the full version (MORE THAN 1 HOUR) on youtube if you search that in the Russian community. In this speech, our president is trying to convey to the people of the world that the U.S. government (the common people is not the case, only the government) is trying every way to destabilize the situation in Ukraine sponsoring radical nationalists, fascists in Ukraine. And also has a huge influence on politicians in the European Union . And in fact, the referendum was following all the international institutions and the 97 persent of people of Crimea was chosen for entry into Russia. Today in Crimea great celebration and everyone is happy. To grasp the truth not only see what you show.

Look at the video title "Ukraine 2014 | Vladimir Putin Announces Crimea Annexation | The New York Times". The word "annexation" is the position of the NY Times editorial, media imposes its position of his audience, though the media should just honor to transmit information to their consumers.
