Decades after the fall of the Third Reich, it feels impossible to understand how Adolf Hitler, the tyrant who orchestrated one of the largest genocides in human history, could ever have risen to power in a democratic country. So how did it happen, and could it happen again? Alex Gendler and Anthony Hazard dive into the history and circumstances that allowed Hitler to become Führer of Germany.

The moral of the story is: Fear is a path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.

Jews in Germany at that time were perceived nearly identically to asians in Vancouver/Canada in the present day. The two different countries and groups draw extremely similar parallels and we can see a bit of history repeating if we are not careful. Most people do not see this so I hope more people do. Canada and the city of Vancouver continues to have this unaddressed issue which may lead to history repeating itself and tragedy in the future where the issue will be another lesson in the history books. We cannot let history ever repeat itself. ✊

One thing you can learn from his rise is the following:
If one radical little man can turn millions of people into murderers or supporters of murder... then anyone could turn millions of people into good people too.

EDIT:
Many here say that being “good“ is harder. That is right. But what if you channel the greed into doing something that doesn't hurt others. Climate action for example. You can say “Hey people, be nice to nature“ no one will care. If you say “Hey people, you'll earn big money investing in this new technology!!! (Oh and btw it is good for the enviroment too)“
