I'm not a fan of the "I don't see color" saying... I am a white male, my wife is black, I never tell her I don't see color. that strips her of a major aspect of her identity. I tell her frequently I see her for her, including the color of her skin and I love that about her. I love her for every little aspect of her being, and one of those is her race.
