I envy your ability to do a multitude of things and rebuilding this Honda is one of them.

I think it looks great, not like junk to me. I would steal it in a heartbeat😄, just kidding. When I first retired I did that to an old airplane. It took me 14 months of full time work but I replaced everything that came off. Best project I ever did.

Nice rebuild! Thanks for sharing! I am just recently purchase a 1996 Fourtrax 300 4X4 myself. Owned by a lady who used it for trail riding, & it's in nice shape. I don't see myself ever needing another ATV. I like the simplicity of these rugged little machines.

Love this review brother!
You're such a sincere honest sounding guy. If you know about these bikes...you know!.
They are honestly, one of the best ATV'S to ever be sold. Like you said, a tank...that appears to be an ATV
Thanks for this. You've got a new subscriber 👍

My 4x4, I did 37mph on about a 400ft stretch of road, I'm sure it could do at least 40. The two-wheel drives, though, are fast, I've seen some go over 50mph.

Kevin that thing looks awesome. Stop talking about what a piece of junk it is. I have a 86 Bayou to 220 that I bought from a buddy for 200 bucks. I actually don’t change the oil in it because I’m afraid I will have to do a total engine and transmission overhaul. Battery and new tires ( the factory ones finally gave up ) but it does what we need it to do on the property. Glad to see people saving old bikes and saving money.

My first was a 250. I loved it, and the guy I sold it to is still riding it. A couple of months ago I bought a Polaris Sportsman 850. Now, that's a beast lol. It will come in real handy at St. Bernard Acres, like yours.

I have a 90 and love it. I made a winch mount for mine which hides the winch under the front fender. I tried to find a mount but they don’t make them for prior to 93. Mine has never been rebuilt original everything and runs and drive awesome. Only thing I replaced was the CDI which is a common thing to go and tires. It would still run with the old cdi but I had to bang on it to start and was worried it would just not start one day.

Where could I find the 2x4-4x4 kit for trx300fw? I didn't know they had that. That would be kool but not really necessary like you said.
