There's tons of jobs that you can work based off of when you want to work from home.
It's called freelancing. You can video edit. You can write. You can write captions for videos. You can...lol well you get it. I actually used to do all of these things. As my job. And I was never this self righteous about it.

While most companies have one CEO most companies have many different management positions and you don't need to wait for your manager's position to open up, you can take another management position and even get a position over your manager. Personally I have no interest in management because it's more than just a title, it's hard work! My 9-5 (actually 7-4 because those are the hours I wanted) is as a software developer at a financial tech company so if she likes being able to bank on her phone she better leave my job alone!
