Why is the fuel supply out in the open to where something like this can happen?? This is very sad.

Harness should connect on your shoulders just like parachutes do for a quick disconnect

Sad, this crash was possibly survivable. A lot of things wrong: Bags near the fuel cutoff switch, passenger harnesses that were not quick release, one flotation device failed. I wonder if they where even wearing lifevests since they were over water.

I want the helicopter pilot to be my pilot because he will be extra sensitive

Of course it will be a while before NTSB determines the official cause. Bag hitting a fuel cutoff switch? Maybe. Pilot shifting blame to someone else? Maybe.

Pilot might have cut the fuel shut off switch himself so he could be another TV personality .
