Valerie is just amazing. She may be near 60, but she is forever young in her wholesomeness and smile. I remember watching her on tv in the 70's and she seemed to be just a normal person then. Nothing has changed. It is refreshing to hear a celebrity say that they are thankful and blessed to be where they are. All the best to Valerie.

The best way to lose that weight of pain is to give it to Christ. Just like a step program, Know what you can control and what you can’t. God is the strength for all of our compulsions.

I read somewhere that she was caring for her elderly mom (who has since passed). For most of us boomers, that role can be very stressful and as a public person, she's known to be so cheery. God bless her; I hope she has peace.

Sitting here with tears because yes, I am you too. I get upset, I want to eat, usually carbs. Our mood is related to gut health. Since I started getting my gut healthy I'm much better. Within 2 wks on probiotics with an antifungal my kids told me I seemed happier and not as snappy. lol Scientist call our gut our second brain. 95% of serotonin and dopamine are made in the gut not the brain. Take care of yourself Valerie. A lot of people care about you!
