ARMA: Cold War Assault (Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis) Full campaign 4.5
The year is 1985, and Mikhail Gorbachev has come to power in the Soviet Union. While his Glasnost and Perestroika reforms are welcomed by western governments, there are communist hardliners in his own government that are unsympathetic to his cause and are ready to do anything to stop these reforms.
Aleksei Guba, a renegade general, is determined to bring down Gorbachev and make himself the next leader of the Soviet Union. Guba commands an army on the island base of Kolgujev. Guba invades nearby Everon, crushing the militia force there, and secretly plans to take the war to the Americans.
The NATO presence on Malden, under the command of the American Colonel Blake, moves in to investigate the loss of contact with Everon, and reports an invasion by an 'unknown hostile force'. When a helicopter of troops sent to investigate doesn't return, Blake orders a full scale invasion of Everon, not knowing about the Soviets. Most of the soldiers sent to Everon are the recruits who are about to be sent home after the finish of their duty.
Though the NATO forces manage to take control a portion of the island, the Soviets eventually counterattack, causing heavy losses to the American forces and forcing their hasty retreat back to U.S.-controlled Malden. The Soviets don't only reclaim Everon but push onto Malden as well which brings the Americans on the edge of defeat. Blake receives an ultimatum from Guba but at the same time he is informed by Washington that a full carrier group is on route at flank speed to lend assistance. Time is of the essence as both the U.S. and Moscow denied that hostilities broke out on the islands to prevent panic but at the same time the USSR began a full-scale mobilization, allegedly as a military exercise. General Guba is in possession of a nuclear-tipped SCUD aimed at Malden and the American forces must prevent the missile launch from happening to avoid the beginning of World War III.

THE FIRST IDEA if for Bohemia Interactive and is about the modding tools.
Your editor is fantastic and powerful but I think you need to create a middle tool.
Many people with great ideas could be a bit intimidated by the level of detail of this editor;
it is powerful but complex but we need something more straightforward, something less complex to do manage.

Something that does not require a too much learning and that takes a lot of time to do craft a mission.
This editor will allow to create less complex missions but much quicker. Sometimes a simple mission if well crafted

can be more memorable than a complex one.
So, if you are reading, think about that and create for us an editor which is quicker and easy to use;
that could bring you the creativity of many people that at the moment are cut out from the creative process.

THE SECOND IDEA is for single player mission creators an it is called: "THE OTHER TAKES"
When you create a mission it would be interesting to create different version of it, like different takes based on

the same core; that would enhance greatly the replayability of the mission.
The first original mission is the most time consuming as you start from scratch but the the other versions are

slightly different and therefore very quick to make but will enhance the replayability,
for example:
FIRST ORIGINAL MISSION:"At the end of our freedom".
Second Take:"At the end of our freedom take 2":
+ a house full of enemy soldiers where before there was nothing
+ a tank coming out from a secondary road, and a few rocket luncher hidden in different houses
+ the passage of 3 airplains at low altitude (just for the thrill)
+ a huge explosion on the horizon
+ a squad member with a substantial different weapon
+ a few high skilled enemies that substitute rookies from the original mission

Third Take:"At the end of our freedom take 3":
+ a couple of civilians hidden in a house asking for some food
+ a diary found on the ground of a madman
+ other 2 soldiers found on the bushes that join the platoon
+ a radio message that indicates that the area is radioactive potentially lethal
+ just an eerie noise from the forest

Those "alternative takes" add extra linfa to the mission, inviting the player to replay the mission
as something new is coming, will it be a slight change of the gameplay or just new events that are there to trigger
the unexpected emotions.

I dudn't even got the Montinac mission. They ordered us to retreat before we got even close. Could just be that I'm a shitty player rarely even seeing the enemy, and that affects the gameplay negatively.
