Fantastic review of a rare gem! I've been looking for such a review on the FX2000 for years. Thank you.

I could swear I rememer the FX2000 having a Schnabel forend. Would that be just a cosmetic variant or were there other functional differences?

I like this TGS air concept. More airguns please.

Mine is serial number 1011, in walnut. I have lost count of the pigeons, rabbits and squirrels I’ve shot with it. Compared to my other guns this is much less convenient to use but the accuracy is really tremendous- single holes at 30m. Out of all of my guns, this is my favourite.

I've had an Axsor for 20+ years now. It's regularly used on rats & ferals in the barns and shoots straighter than I can ;-) I stripped and oiled the walnut a few years ago and it's a thing of beauty now. Wish I could get away from the horrible Webley drop moderator though.

Why do people put massive scopes on air rifles? their useful hunting range is only about 30m odd for a 12ft lbs version.
