Swamiji beautifully says that when we search for happiness, we are actually searching for divine bliss which is infinite and unending. We get drawn to material entrapments, hooked by our five senses, lured by the search for happiness. However, repeated contemplation on God, his leelas, his kirtans, ways to serve him, etc. will lead to attachment to God, the true source of happiness. Thank you Swamiji.

Beautiful lecture by Swamiji. He clearly makes us understand that we all seek happiness and we are trying our label best to get it. But we are searching that happiness in a wrong place.
Happiness is not a treasure to be found, but can be built within ourselves. When we learn to search for that divine happiness within, our life becomes daily festival.

Swamiji has been immensely kind to us in explaining our search for happiness and how can we accomplish it. He gracefully explains our nature to seek pleasure in our lives. Being a tiny part of the ocean of bliss, we naturally quest for happiness but under the realm of the material world or maaya, we look for it in the wrong directions.

We contemplate happiness in the worldly objects and find ourselves in distress. As a rule, contemplation leads to attachment. We believe that if we have a particular thing in our life, it would make us happy. But this is just the beginning of our downfall. This contemplation leads to attachment. We become attached to that object based on our contemplation and desire for it. In other words, attachment leads to desire which in turn leads to greed and if unfulfilled then to anger.

To prevent ourselves from such turmoil and make perfect use of the gift of this human form, we should shift our subject of contemplation from material world to god. Continuous practice of this will create neural pathways through which we will become attached to god.

Bhakti in a way means channeling our desire towards god and not giving up of desires. Law of sublimation of desire states that if we desire for higher taste, lower taste will subside, i.e. if we desire god, worldly desires will reduce.

Thank you Swamiji for this enlightenment.

My humble obeisance to His Holiness Swami Mukundananda. 🙏

Swamiji beautifully quotes Devotion is love for the highest, and the lowest will fall away by itself. When we focus to increase our love for God, we automatically begin to develop the detachment towards worldly affairs.

We always seek happiness in the objects of senses and repeatedly contemplate happiness from it always . If we get it then we want more and if we don’t get it then we become dejected and angry. Thus is how we get attached to material world 🌍. Similarly we need to repeatedly contemplate 🤔 happiness in God and attach our mind there by Sadhana, meditation 🧘🏻‍♀️, Chintan, etc where there is no expectation and you will get success always. Thanks 🙏 Shri Swamiji for the wonderful wisdom on search of real happiness. A must watch for all as we are going in wrong direction for happiness. Jai Ho 🙏
