Best F-18 flying I have ever seen. A pilot who knows what those "rudders" are for. Excellent. F-22 in F-18 clothing.

What a Pilot! Great video, I’ve never seen a F18 flown and pushed to the limits like this 👍🏻👏🏻

I've seen solo F-18 demos many times. Both from the Legacy Hornets to the new Rhinos.. Never seen any Hornet fly like this, never thought it can pull those maneuvers to this extent. Amazing! The pilot really pushed that plane. He flew it like he stole it!

Why is that European pilots fly the American Jets with such a spectacular performance?? I’ve been to several US Airshows but I’ve never seen a performance like this!!!

Ukskoski flies this display bleeding airspeed purposefully most of the time. His timed handling of the elevator allows him to timely drop nose and regain energy again. And he does it for the whole duration of the display. He's actually pulled off the Hornet flight manual and disserted a master class on low speed handling and control. Knight Flight you've been there, wasn't it mind- blowing, was it?.

I bet Boeing engineers didn't know that the hornet could do that... I hope they invite the guy for a beer. Boy, with that skills he could save the day in "Behind of Enemy Lines", if you ask me..

The pilot was waving during the high “alpha” pass. Awesome.

So many haters saying how UNmanuverable the F18 is. It is agile enough and powerful enough and fast enough. Go F18😁😁

Thanks for posting this video. I live in Pensacola, the home of the blue angels and I’ve been telling people for years that the blue angels demo don’t show the full maneuverability of the f18

Awesome! I thought I was watching the F22A by mistake with that take off maneuver. Hats off to the pilot!

The F-18 is an excellent, capable fighter, no doubt, but that pilot was just amazing! Makes that old bird look brand new.

Like the announcer said somewhere in the video this thing can land on a short highway airstrip. The reason why finland bought fighters made only for aircraft carriers is because FDF have different needs for their planes. Finnish airforce is able to setup a base pretty much anywhere which has a wide enough road using the same technology used in aircraft carriers. Because Finland have only 3 airbases which all could be destroyed in minutes. So basically Finland has aircraft carriers on land.
Finnish airforce is buying new planes soon and the new planes must have at least the same capabilities or a VTOL.
