Great beginner lessons! I started learning guitar in January 2021, beginning with buying a new set of Martin extra light strings and stringing one of my son's guitars by myself. I learned to tune the guitar myself after that, and found my first Youtube beginner lesson for "Where do the Children Play" by Cat Stevens, using only 4 chords. I'm going to be 59 yrs old this year, and it's always been a dream of mine to learn to play. My 25 year old son has been playing for 10 years and he's impressed with my progress. This will be my 5th song I want to "master" after 3 months of playing. Well, at least play well enough to play and sing it for my wife. My goal is to be a VERY GOOD amateur guitarist by the time I retire in 5 or 6 years. To all those learning out there like me, you CAN do it! Pick up the guitar every day even if it's only 10 minutes! Be patient with yourself and keep learning from awesome, realistic, teachers like Kurt!
