A veces me parece que hay cosas que son obvias y no suelo enseñarlas. Sin embargo, cuando hablo con vosotros me doy cuenta de que lo que yo asumo como evidente, no siempre lo es.
Y eso es justo lo que me ha pasado con la técnica que os voy a mostrar hoy, quizás sea porque llevo tanto tiempo poniendo bordes de esta forma que ya la he asumido como normal
Poner un borde de esta manera es muy rápido, fácil y eficaz. Además, no vamos a necesitar más que una hornada para tener la pieza acabada.
Y podéis usarla con la técnica que queráis. Yo la he usado con un mokume básico que también os muestro.

LA verdad que esto de la arcilla polimérica es un mundo aparte. Yo estoy haciendo esculturas desde este año y aunque no me dedico a la joyería en si, toda técnica es enriquecedora. I always appreciate it when you show a basic technique in detail and explain what you're doing and why. I think for a lot of us who are experienced with polymer clay, we assume we know what we're doing only to find out that we could refine our technique to achieve a more professional result.

Passing the stacked clay through the machine on the same setting repeatedly warms the clay - thank you for the tip!  I will definitely use this border technique; it is new to me - very logical, why did I not think of it!  In addition to the ability to make very narrow borders it gives a perfectly smooth backing.  Thank you for this valuable lesson, Ana :)

Me parece una técnica estupenda, porque el resultado es perfecto. La práctica con la cuchilla flexible es clave también, por supuesto, y se nota.

Para la pregunta de esta semana: Hay que volver a pasar la arcilla por el mismo grosor de la máquina de pasta pero sin apilar más capas.
Respondo porque para eso estamos, pero yo me conformo con aparecer una vez, conste ☺️
Leí tu respuesta (muchísimas gracias por contestarme) sobre la posibilidad de dar un taller en Italia y me encantaría acudir. Así que si se celebra y no pasa nada raro, ya tienes una asistente.
