More than 100 people were exposed to the coronavirus while getting a hair cut in Missouri. Two hairdressers at a “Great Clips” in Springfield tested positive for the virus. Officials say one of the stylists worked for eight days while showing symptoms. I'm a hairstylist of 20+ years and have taken this to be my sign to retire. I cant trust people to not show up with a cold let alone corona.
Salon owners pressure us to work sick by not giving us sick time or an hourly wage. Straight commision encourages working sick.
Clients will tell you that little johnny was too sick for school so they decided to get his haircut while "he's off from school."
This situation is not surprising.
