Dude, here's what you need to do. Get your stage chops, get out of the bedroom and then go and form an Experience tribute band. You'll make thousands of $ a year. Don't waste your talent.

I love watching guitarists' fingers and Jimi is my favorite musician so to see how he might have played these is fantastic. Makes me appreciate him even more if that's possible. This is one of the 1st Hendrix songs I loved when I was 16 and It is still one of my favorites now that I'm 65 AND I still listen to JIMI play it. Appreciate it Greg. My personal favorite, don't think I can name just one.as I have too many. Oh yeah, I some people think he only played with a pick, really!!

Really well done. Great tone as well. I worked this out when I first started playing years ago, no helpful hints or modern technology...quite a challenging chord progression given Jimi's technique, especially when you've just got ears to rely on. Very satisfying piece of music to play.

Thanks for posting this! It's one of my favourite pieces by Jimi and I've loved it since I first heard it at the age of 14 on the loose ends album that I have on 8 track and vinyl. Listened to it last night at the age of 47 and thought "I bet I can play this" was trying to learn by ear from the record but it was a pain keep lifting the needle and putting it back a few seconds so I searched YouTube to make it easier and found this. Great job, I'll have it down way quicker now.

Greg I have heard this track so many times over and over by Jimi. This has to be the closest I have ever heard to the true sound.
Excellent!
Thank you ...

Some people do it for the love of the music, not for money or fame. If I had this level of skill, I'd be using it to entertain myself and only myself in my room whenever I'm bored, just like I do now. Difference is, I'm nowhere near that good. Not even an ounce. I definitely wouldn't want to be famous or make money touring n all that nonsense.

I would love to hear you do some more covers of other R&B style rhythm tracks like Stevie Ray's Lenny (absoute favorite, very beneficial) or life without you. maybe some John Mayer thrown in was also in my opinion a great rhythm guitarist as well. just friendly suggestion keep it up I prefer your versions to the originals honestly.
