Thanks! I didn't want to use my converter software, and I didn't want to lose any picture corners, so unclicking "maintain aspect ratio" worked just fine.

I have SMSP 13 and its been bugging me for a long time, messing about with pan/crop and losing a lot of the picture, I had to hunt the preset as its not like your version but I got there in the end . I can now get a lot of 4.3 converted to 16.9 which is brill man ! Tons of thanks !

Hey. Is there any chance to render hd videos to this kind of 16:9, where there are small black lines above and below the video. (If you don't know what I mean, watch my videos "Chilling in the forest" or "Gym 2012") I edited those videos with adobe premiere elements, but it didn't work anymore, so i bought sony movie studio. If anyone knows, thanks.

Hey Derek, I could use your help again and am hoping you can do so.

In my fan edit of Space 1999, an HD version of the TV movie Alien Attack was released along with the other compilations of that series earlier this year on blu ray. The problem is that they made the version with the enhanced FX "widescreen" where the black bars are no longer there which isn't going to match with the footage from the other episodes where they do still have the black bars on the side. I tried to either make the HD enhanced version with black bars as well as eliminating the black bars from the other episodes, but I couldn't do so without compromising the picture. Unless I did something wrong or if there's something else to do, I'd like to know please.

Fabulous tip, used it, it works I'm doing a timelapse, with a Gopro, and have 450 photos on the timeline, and need to 'Select all' instead of doing everyone tips for that? Cheers - Frank, great channel by the way, this Vegas is amazing, and I could learn someting new about it, every day until I die, I'm sure.
