If you look in the dictionary under ‘alpha female’, there’s a photo of Bernadette Cooper.

People may say it about their era, or the eras to come, but NO ERA CAN EVER COME CLOSE TO THE 80s AND 90s... they were the best BAR

The 80s were something else. This is coming from someone who was born in 98. We will never see anything so fun in the music industry again. Everything is so boring and serious now.

WHAT I LOVED About The 1980s, MUSIC-wise, it was DEFINITELY the Era of WOMEN Performers, Both Single & Groups. WHAT Really Set KLYMAXX from the other Female Groups is that ALL of The Group's members PLAYED Instruments, as well as SING., (except The LEAD Vocalist) THAT Had NEVER Been Done In MUSIC. EVER. I this Group. They were EXPLOSIVE ON Stage.

FIERCE & Talented, they SPOOK, in Song, many of the things Women were Thinking about, back then. So, Many GREAT FEMALE Groups, back in The MARY JANE Girls. The JONES Girls. The Emotions. The POINTER Sisters. SISTER SLEDGE.
And Others.
