DescriptionIAEA Director General Yukiya Amano today delivered a statement to the Agency's Board of Governors. His statement included updates on Iran, the IAEA’s Fukushima Report and the current status of nuclear power worldwide. Referring to the Agency’s ability to respond quickly to the needs of its Member States, Mr Amano announced that the IAEA will assist Nepal in testing the integrity of buildings following the recent earthquakes.
