I love this game. It's been a long time since I've lost track of time playing a game. Brilliant 😀😀

Love to hear that you've been enjoying it - haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it sounds like it will be a good game to just unwind and explore with no stress, yeah?

I have really enjoyed the experience of just exploration. I like the fact it isn't action packed but more of a relaxing experience. I want to put on Pink Floyd - Echoes and wonder around at my own pace. Just as you said it is something to get lost in and forget about the stresses of our real lives. Loved the streams Gemma. I will need to catch one live next time.

It's an exploration game but people got the impression it was more than that. I'm loving how chilled it is. Really nice game to play with a strong cuppa and zen out. I feel almost zero stress playing this game.

It sounds like you're enjoying "No Man's Sky" alot. To me, the game's an mixutre of Minecraft & Mass Effect. Good video.

It's amazing when you think there were only 20 staff members on this game's development.

I'm glad some people are enjoying it. I never had any interest. Going by the reviews most people are fucked off because it shipped without quite a few of the promised features, on top of that I think people over-hyped it.

I am waiting to play it darling :) I am super excited to dedicate hours to it x until I play I have your playlist to enjoy mwah x

What Sean Murray did say though is that "You will be able to see other players but the chance of coming across them is super rare." When in reality, it's simply not programmed in to the game. Whilst he didn't promise all that was expected, he did at least promise that! =)

I agree 100% with ya. I did get the error screen while the game was loading and after that I lost around 13-15 hours of progress. I don't know if it had to do with me redeeming my Vector ship on the space station or what. I was watching your live stream where yours errored out while in game and then again after you restarted it and was laughing at your reaction at them, but I was relieved when it booted back up in the same spot you left off minus Tracey the dinosaur. 😂
The game reminds me of when I was a kid and would take walks late at night when everyone was asleep. I used to take that time and pretend the world was mine to explore and I was the only one on it.

its not "shit", its just not meant to "super fast action" players, its more geared towards those players who played Elite back in the day

It's definitely not my kind of game, I don't understand the appeal of this kind of experience. It's neither aesthetically pleasing, nor as a gaming adventure does it look entertaining. Personally, it looks like the hype has got out of hand for thus, but glad to hear you're enjoying it

I think No Man's Sky is visually appealing and very vast. Most of the reasons people are griping about it aren't the reasons I'll probably never play it. Its because its in the first person. Now if it manages to translate into VR perhaps I'll give it a try, but at the same time the objectives and payoff just don't seem rewarding enough to me. Nevertheless still a very interesting concept to build off of.

"See No Man's Sky for what it is"

It's a 60€ priced game that now has to compete against other AAA-Games in that price range. And if you honestly compare what you get with NMS and for example with what you've got withThe Witcher (at release) - NMS definetly does look like garbage.

"You can do whatever you want"

Really? There are too many things that you can't do in this game to list them all of, so I will give you a list of what you can do:
-Walk around
-Gather/Scan/ name (pretty pointless) and craft stuff
-Visiting another planet/system
-Fly around in a fighter (not really a spaceship imo)
-Shoot (pretty lame implementation btw)
-Find one of very very few different space anomalies
-Find on every planet/space station one of (three!) different aliens sitting alone in always the same room

That's all. Not much to do. Where are alien cities. How can I explore alien cultures and civilizations? Can I engage in some alien wars or find something out about an alien artifact or the heritage of those ruins?
There is nothing in this game thats beyond gathering and crafting stuff.

Besides that: The games graphics look in many situations just bad (PC version better but still bad), the performance (they will patch that but atm) is outrageous at PC versions, the size of the game is 2, 5Gb! No wonder you get the feeling that almost every planet in this game uses the same 10-15 assets for some of the trees and animals etc.

What they need to do in order to make this game good:
-Add Multiplayer. Some Hub where players can meet or at least some coop option to join your friends.
-Increase the size of the inventory drastically
-Make huge ships flyable (you need something that you can call "home" and because the nature of the game is traveling a big ship is perfect)
-Give us a companion on our journey (an npc that we can hire/find and has some skills)
-Develop a concept for character progression (there is none in this game!)
-Improve the texture resolution for the PC version
-Create fu**ing more assets to use for the procedural code
-I want to see HUGE mountains. Hundrets of kilometers long and like 4-10 km high. You could pump hours in this game just climbing up those. Right now all you get is some hills, which is pretty disappointing!
-Add to each planet at least ONE very unique thing, some open world "dungeon", a small city (with MORE than one NPC), a derelict under water station where some aliens jump at you, a time machine that brings you back to when the ruins where a small town that got attacked by other aliens or an alien museum... there are endless possibilities.
-Get rid of the fucking drones on every planet that attack you because you dared to touch a stone. It's just a dumb concept. Add unique lifeforms (with unique mechanics: spider that burns in sunlight, swarm of flesh eating worms that react only when they hear something), use the nature of the planet to challenge the player, not a boring spacepolice that magically is just everywhere.
-Get rid of the whole thing where one alien just sits in a room and wants to trade items with you. Add some flying basar ships you can visit or get rid of the credits completely and just do what minecraft does. (Make everything craftable by the player)
-Give us a minimap for the system/planet where we can mark points of interest
-If you already have such an amazing procedural flora/fauna generation tool give the player some option to create creatures themselves (a player could let creatures and get a mutated walking tree pet as an companion)
-Let us bring animals/plants with us in our ship and to other planets

There are so much things that they've could've done. Even a few of the thigs I've mentioned above would've made this game at least an average AAA-title, maybe even better but right now there is nothing that this game has to offer for me and in its current state it's just painfully repetitive and boring as hell.

when you pay 60 dolla, there are certain expectations ...this game is nicely put, limited in every aspect and isnt living up to any expectations.
