2:10 the endpoint control of the ostrich while running at such speeds is incredibly.
Great work by the camera crew too!

I laugh so hard when the rest of Hyenas sounds like laughing at their matriarch after the ostrich gave her a whooping spank 😅

Now, this is cinematic brilliance. Absolutely wonderful with HD closeups, capturing the birth, kick and sounds.

Ostriches are essentially successful dinosaurs in a world of large mammals.

When i was a kid (probably about 8 years old) my grandma took me to an ostrich farm. I was told there was an egg inside the Ostrich´s hut so i went inside. What followed then was a angry ostrich mama that chased me down for looking at her egg and my grandma who could either open the door for me to get out or take a photo. I have a framed picture of me getting chased by an ostrich for more than 20 years now and its one of the best photos i own :D

Wow! A single bird defeats a clan of hyenas. Sometimes even a single male lion cannot cope with a clan of hyenas. What a bird!!

Congratulations for the amazing cinematic sound footage loved it. And your voice was very balanced. Meaning you didn't had a preference you simply read the animals desire. :D

It's so refreshing to see what a difference it makes in the animal kingdom when the make sticks around tot take an active role in the the raising and more importantly the protection of his offspring. And oh what a difference it made. Usually it's a "single mom " desperately trying to do it all ;raise hunt and defend

That’s so beautiful, even in the wild the ostrich MALE is showing that he can be a protector Usually it’s the other way around.
