There's a small stretch of soil north of the Rio Grande river that's still part of the United States, but exists below the Mexican border wall. The Atlantic went inside this no-man’s-land to uncover what life is like in a place that feels like not-quite America, but not-quite Mexico.

Why are you comparing the border wall to prison bars? Most of the households in Europe have some sort of fencing around them lmao.

It's funny how they always play Spanish Flemenco music when referring to anything Mexican in these videos.

I like how you showed her leaning on her personal chain linked fence, staring at the border fence she say doesn't like.

Hmm, my backyard has a fence and for some reason I have never thought of the fence as prison bars. Where do we get these people - I am sure the idiot talking about prison walls/bars has a fence around his backyard to keep uninvited people out.

If President Trump taxes them for the wall he can always say he got the wall built and made Mexico pay for it..

I think people are surprised by her putting out water and soda because they don't understand that it doesn't help people cross illegally. It keeps people from dying. It doesn't keep them from being caught. It might even help them to be caught because police know where to look. But no one wants someone to die, except psychopaths.
