Miyazaki: it’s just a bunch of blue goobers, you don’t need to do anything special with the song.

I don't see how beings that can drop entire galaxies on you count as "failures".

2:19 the moment when they stop fighting and raise their hands looking at the heavens, to sort of channel a part space in order to bombard you with meteors is one of the most unexpected and beautiful things in the game fkr me

Clearly inspired by "Mars, the Bringer of War" by Gustav Holst. The intro is nearly identical. I love both of these compositions, as they are both very good at giving you the intended feeling of cosmic grandness.

2:20 Holy shit, in the first few minutes of this boss I was disappointed with the "multiple enemies" boss design and thought that it would be another Celestial Emissary but then this part hit. They unleash the full wrath of the cosmos upon you and I didn't notice until one of the meteors hit me dead on that I realized that we weren't in the gardens anymore but deep in the outward reaches of the universe.

God, I just can't help but to admire the presentation within the DLC. You think that the fights are going to be mediocre and then Bloodborne hits you out of nowhere with these memorable, godlike attacks that leave you in awe and terror. Truly, Bloodborne has some of the best boss fights I've seen in any Souls game.
