We are not in communication, been for a while now. I don't know if he's struggling with addiction still or what. I hope that he will choose to seek some help for it, cause there is nothing wrong with asking for it if you need it, sometimes it's a battle we just can't conquer ourselves. For me, when I officially got sober and stuck to it, it was nothing but sheer will power this time. I did it on my own, but there were years prior where I did go to treatment a few times, the meetings, the therapy sessions. I did all that. When I knew enough was enough, I had already made up in my mind that I was going to stick to this no matter what. Whoever needs the support, I'm sending out some healing energy out to you today. Trust me when I say my worst day sober is still better than my best day ever using. I promise it's worth it.
