Coronavirus Pandemic Update 59: Dr. Seheult's Daily Regimen (Vitamin D, C, Zinc, Quercetin, NAC) 5

We recorded this video in response to your comments asking what Dr. Seheult's daily regimen is - to optimize his immune system and minimize COVID-19 risk. In the absence of good clinical data that is specific to SARS-CoV-2, Dr. Seheult discusses supplements, sleep, and his daily disinfection routine when removing PPE, getting in his car, and returning home from the hospital. We look forward to more randomized, blinded, placebo-control studies in the future that will build upon the current body of evidence as it relates to immunity and specifically coronaviruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

I just got over covid after 2 weeks, quercetin and NAC extremely helpful for my breathing. I stayed outpatient and kept oxygen above 92. When I was in worst condition to took quercetin 500 mg every 8 hours/600 mg every 8 hours and zinc gluconate 50 mg very 8 hours/ vitamin C 500 mg every eight hours. Quercetin and NAC game changers for breathing. Also a few big doses of vit d. Timing of doses was based on symptoms. I weened off by going longer and longer dosing once a day now. I still have minor discomfort and some fatigue but getting better. I’m 49.

Retired Optometrist. It blows my mind how close minded health care professionals are to the idea of Vitamin D supplementation.

Results of a blood analysis showed my Vitamin D near 0% but results of 50 other metrics were ideal. Too many hours spent indoors. After a yr of D3 supplements @ 10, 000 iu daily, vitamin D levels had risen to @ 60% of max. Normal is 50%; anything above 50% can be toxic so my primary advised that I cut daily intake in half. I take no medications of any kind including aspirin. Haven't had a headache, cold or flu in decades. After watching this video I believe Dr. Seheult is giving us great advice. I'll be adding a zinc & manganese supplement to a magnesium supplement taken regularly. Magnesium and calcium are important parts of 300 different neurological and hormonal processes.
I used to run every day, but at 62 yrs of age I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke due to hypertension. I blew a sneaker on Heartbreak Hill, metaphorically speaking. It left me bedridden with total left side paralysis. Family was told I wouldn't make it. I recovered 70% mobility and walked out of rehab 3 months later. I'm 76 now. Your body heals itself if given half the chance.

Overeating is a problem for all of us, but fasting for four days (keto diet) helps to cleanse the organs and body of diseased cells thru autophagy and apoptosis. It also ends sugar cravings by eliminating molds and yeasts in the intestinal biome. The first three days are hell. On the fourth day the sun comes out and rainbows, birds and bunny rabbits appear.

Four days of fasting in my experience is a necessary minimum. It's also a good stopping point! Use it to switch over to an Atkins diet. Ending the fast and re-feeding your body is the most important piece of resetting your organs & bodily systems, re-establishing your gut biome and re-energizing your immune system. A side benefit is knocking ten years off your chronological age. Really. These are all a normal part of my ongoing lifetime rehab thanks to the invaluable help of some great doctors. I'm not a doctor and wouldn't try doing this alone without one. It has been life changing.

A physician here from Spain. We've been in lockdown for a month now. I do take similar precautions like you do when going back home. Hand sanitize, remove clothes, wash with hot (over 60º) water, diluted bleach to clean the soles of the shoes, go straight to the shower, etc. Try to sleep well, 45 min of cardio exercise daily and keep a healthy diet. Not taking vitamin suplements atm. I admire your dedication. Thanks a lot for the tips and the videos. Keep it up. All my best wishes to all of you out there in the fight.

As a chiropractor and applied kinesiologist with over 40 years of practice experience I must commend you for your willingness to step outside of the orthodox pharmaceutical box and include alternative research in your videos. I and my patients have benefited from your research and videos. Job well done. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
I would also suggest adding vitamin A to you regimen for it’s beneficial effects on mucous membranes in general, and especially the eyes and lungs, and lets not forget the liver, which is important in preventing the cytokine overload.

I live in MN and I've been taking d3/k2 year around for around 12 years. I haven't had the flu that entire time. I'm 63. I haven't had a flu shot for the same time.

Be careful, the CEO of youtube recently did an interview with CNN where she said they're going to remove videos that talk about remedies and cures that aren't WHO-approved.

Thank you for sharing this. You must understand, this gives people a feeling of taking control over their health in a time that can feel so helpless. I am sure many others say thank you as well.

Keep up the amazing work.

Just wanted to reach out and thank you Dr Seheult from down here in New Zealand. I'm a high school science teacher and your videos have been a huge source of beneficial information and likely more far reaching than you intended. I have shared some of the information with school principals to help inform our planning for staff and students as we move out of lockdown. Your explanations of microbiology are so clear and relevant we plan to use one for a Senior Biology assessment. (Sincerely hope you don't mind if we use one as a teaching resource). Who knew that transcription and translation could be so relevant to them right now. Understanding the science behind this fast moving panademic has helped me personally feel empowered. My husband happily endures the vitamin supplements, daily walks and hot tubs, and regular sleep routines. I want to thank you for the work that you do in your local hospital and the work you do online that benefits the global community. Your great uncle would be so proud as I am grateful. Kia kaha, as we say in New Zealand. Stay strong. :)

Doc, I worked at UCSF during high school and college performing autopsies. I later became a pathologist and internist. We had a special room for the hepatitis autopsies. After I cleaned the room with bleach, I would put on the UV light. I suggest you have sterilizing UV lights in each cubical and maybe at your home in the laundry room.
