The speaker spacers are there too direct the sound into the cabin instead of dispersing in the doortrim. Buy or make foam rings to close the gap between the speaker and doorcard. (Better sound) 😁

The south African version of the jetta has both a glove boxan the thing you put a pen in. Our covers by the e-brake are way different and the steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car. Would love to send you some pictures of ours if you'd like

I started with a mk2 jetta then moved onto a Vento in silver when clean it was very pearl effect from factory lowered on brock wheels loved the car. Then sold it to a neighbour. A few years later bought a deep red vento just as my nieghour blew my old one up so I broke it and got my wheels back. That was a few years a passat, golf and a3 ago.
