It's pretty nasty here in Gulfport, MS. A little rainy, and winds in the 30mph range.

This storm is "churning" like the Amish making butter on a cool summer day.

Hey Levi, just a quick THANK YOU. I've been following you for a long time on your website and TRULY appreciate the time you put into your forecasting. I live on a yacht in the Caribbean and the first website I pull up every morning this time of year is tropical tidbits!

One small comment. You used to list all the current storms in one long page and have now shifted to a dropdown for each weather feature. Truly liked the all on one page view. Now go to spaghettimodels for this...

Getting a little gusty here in Panama City Beach. Shout out to Tropical Tidbits... I was watching WJGH locally and he showed a slide with your name on it.

Thank you. I remember when I first found you on YouTube years ago. I loved the way you describe the storms and their tracks.

Great as always, but (purely selfishly, because I'm up that way) 20 secs on the southbound non-tropical system off Iberia would have been nice.

2 feet of rain is no joke and its in no hurry to move til it's cloud tops begin to collapse. The steering flow is weak and balanced, and looks to continue that way probably til late tomorrow morning. If its at 80 or 100mph, it won't matter that much, as the duration of rainfall and wind will be the memory. Gonna be a long night for some. I've been thru 1 hurricane, 8 hours start to finish. Can't imagine 36+ hours like some areas will experience. Also pretty amazing that 75% of the United States currently has smoke in the skies. Today was day 2 for VA and you can barely see blue in the sky. Primarily grey from horizon to horizon. If you look at California now, wind is cranking back up, and new fires are starting as I speak.
