There are lots of videos about streaming mistakes. They mostly all say the same thing and some of the advice isn't even sound. They never talk about the type of audience that is spending their time on Twitch or how to fully optimize your discoverability. Lemme help, yo. Also, honest question, do you think Emilia Clarke will ever notice me? I don't know how many people actually read this paragraph so help me figure that out by answering that question in the comments. What's the biggest mistake you've seen others make (or you yourself have made in the past)?

I've heard you say it before but that whole speech you give about streaming and making content even when you don't want to has really stuck with me these last couple weeks between planning content, editing and trying to balance other social media. Even if it's a little bit it's more than I was doing before when I was feeling demotivated. You're a really motivational guy. Love your videos man. Keep it up.

Yes! The host thing is true! Don't beg or angle for a host, because it will pick you up and drop you fast. A 1k or even a 10k host will make very little long term difference. You've gotta do the legwork.

THANK YOU for your insight on “host” — a friend of mine would treat himself hosting as if he raided and wouldn’t hear that it was doing more for his channel than the one he hosted
