Thanks for this video. What a great piece of gear! Does this come with a harness or do you have to order that separate? Also, can you make a video of you wearing the rig along with side arm? Would like to see how you move while wearing the rig.

I love this rig!! I put 60 rounds in total in my rig (can fit more if you take out the ammo from the box). I just ordered their new 12gauge micro rig (cop rig as they call it), it carries an additional 12 rounds. I'm ordering ALL my gear from SOE, they make quality product. remember, you get what you pay for!

Very nice video. As an aside, there is very much use and logic for a side-saddle, especially in a true home defense role. On-weapon ammunition has its role, and buying a quality side-saddle eliminates the need to fear rounds falling out. OSOE are good people who make top notch stuff.

FYI...OSOE can do just about any color or camo pattern that is commercially available. May cost a tad more for something custom, but it is custom and the quality is well worth the price.

Hands down this is the best rig I've seen its gonna be a little heavy but it leaves you body room for a heavy body armour and ar-15 or ak mags med kit. Basically it leaves the body a greater range of motion in a stressful situation. :)

Hi, do you leave the loops (the pullout pouches) loaded at all times? Due to the nature of the material, won't they stretch and lose their elasticity over time?

This is an amazing rig ! Many people down play the role of a dedicated shot gunner in a defensive/offensive role. LEO would definitely love this.

Came across your video by accident. I like the versatility of the rig. My tactical shotgun is 10 gauge. Do you know if this will fit 10 gauge shells?
Looks like a good rig to go along with my Saiga 12.

I really like this rig, I wonder if I can track one down in Canada, or find a place that actually ships across the border (getting harder to find these days).

They are LPA Ghost ring sights, or VERY similar. You will need the front one to be silver soldered onto the barrel, which for most is a job for a gunsmith. If you check out Vang Comp or possibly even Aimpro tactical if you have a mossberg, they should carry and be able to install them for you. I know it has been a while since you asked but figure I would still throw it out there.

$30 for my bandoleer that holds 55 shells. Good enough for me, but I think the new ideas should keep coming. This is how innovation is done.

Looks great, I just don't know if I want to take up that much real estate on my chest rig.

Great review, excellent rig, pricey though...

The design of the 12ga pouches is great. However the dump pouch is something I've never been fond of, especially on a vest. Same with mounting a pistol on your front. You'll have to push aside your broken/dry long gun to get access to anything on your vest. I'd rather see a rig dedicated to shotgun or the rifle. I'll only be carrying one. The rig has potential, it just needs to be fine tuned.

@ffryan I believe the original intent of the utility pouch was to give you a place to run a first aide kit on this small rig, but it also works great for holding additional shot gun shells that can be used to reload the pullout pouches. The versatility of this rig is only limited by the end users imagination. PS Think outside the box.

Just bought one second hand. Excited to get it. Also did you not have a round in the chamber of your handgun?

The full size SOE cop rig holds 36 shells and is $225. This is the shotgun micro rig and only holds 24 shells. The micro rig in $140

@EN2HAMMSTER Ok no prob - I went to the site and saw the pull-out pouches and you said they attach by MOLLE. They are expensive but look like they are worth the money :) Pretty neat stuff.
