OMG! Bloodwych! This was mine and my best friend's favorite game of our childhood. We used to talk about this game every time we would meet even as we got older. RIP friend.

Remaking Bloodwych in Grimrock is a nice idea. BUt tunfortunately the mechanics that made Bloodwych so memorable are impossible to port over in that engine. It had a memory/sleep based magic mechanic instead of runes, no light mechanic, and it had an awesome split screen two player co-op mode (It was the only POV dungeoncrawler game like it I ever encountered that had co-op).

I played this game on the Atari ST in the 1990s. Loved it. I saw another 6-hour lp of the original game, with no commentary. I'm looking forward to this journey with you.

I find it annoying it to pick names for many characters too.
