If you have wide feet and are looking for some minimalist all leather boots, check out Lems. They make their All Leather Boulder Boot.

I've worn different pairs of Lems Shoes for a number of years now, mainly because most of their catalog has a nice wide 2E toe box. They have some great offerings to include their Boulder Boots which I've put tons of miles on backpacking out in the mountains. So when they introduced their All Leather Boulder Boots, I tried a pair out.

Thanks for the review! You consistently show things I'm interested in.
I'm a wide foot guy too and it's tough to find wide shoes and boots. I'll be ordering these today. Decent sale at Backcountrygear.com

Highly recommend the Lems Boulder boots. Get the gortex ones if you plan on using for hiking and backpacking. They’re tough as nails for how flexible and light they are.

I've been running the waterproof model for a little while and they are fantastic. The wide toe box changed the way I look at shoes.

*Notices snow on boot and that he's standing with one foot elevated* Did you take your boot off in the snow?

Not related to this video but I’ve seen you shoot rifles with irons only but nobody talks about that. I’d like to see a video on some advantages and tips and tricks to shooting rifles quickly, accurately, and in compromised positions with irons and what some of the pros and cons would be when running a rifle like that

How have these aged with use? My past two pairs of boots have been Vasques and they tend to get to beyond hope after a year and half of everyday casual use + weekly hikes.

Insoles are easy enough to swap but things like treads wearing out or the lace enclosure busting are real killers.

Also you might want to look into getting a spray bottle of waterproofing for those. Hope your socks were fine.

Felt like a small bit of break-in is needed for the leather boots compared to the normal ones. I did get my pair awhile ago and perhaps they could be a bit different now? Just wanted to give those that do not wear boots much a heads up.

I've got about a year on mine. Treating the leather helped water resistance quite a bit. They're definitely the most comfortable boots I own. My only gripe is the sole doesn't have much traction on snow or wet surfaces.

I have triple E wide feet. I usually have to buy AT LEAST 1 to 1½ sizes larger to fit what my father used to call my "canal barge" feet making them too long. A big toe box boot would keep my shoes from having the toe turn upwards making them look like fairy slippers after a hard day's slog. Thanks KB!

I found Lem boots thru your review and got a pair for 90 bucks on clearance off of the Lems website. I love them. Light, comfortable, breathable... excellent boot. I too wish I had a pair of waterproof ones for the fall and spring.

Don‘t dry your leather boots near a heat source, it will shorten the life of the leather!
