Wildfire burning in Cowichan Valley grows to 4.1 hectares

A growing wildfire along the Cowichan River has neighbours worried. On Sunday, crews attacked it on the ground, and a helicopter dropped water from overhead. But, as Skye Ryan reports, a special weather statement is warning of high winds Monday, and no rain is in the forecast.

And it didn't grow after we smashed it. That's what we do. Had a fire in November this year too. 3 ft of snow in mountains and 3 ft of dry duff layer under it. 6 ft of smashing things
