A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

Thank you for this. I am definitely struggling to find material to put the separate beginning techniques together for intermediate play. This lesson was perfect for me.

Thank you for this video and for what you said about how hard it is to find intermediate instruction. I’ve been playing guitar for a long time and often feel lost with how to get better so I really appreciate this video and I really like the content

A song that I routinely practice, We Sink by CHVRCHES, has this exact chord progression in the chorus. Have been trying to think of a good chord to substitute the B minor with, so thanks so much for this!

My bad habit is barre chords. It slows me down for the fills because of how tired my hand gets so quickly. I miss the route for the next chord too often. This alternative position B might help me play for longer and get to next chord shape easier.

Thank you for the lesson 🙏

Thanks so much. I’m kinda intermediate rut right now. I can play all the bar chords and power chords and open chords but the soloing and ad libbing isn’t there yet. This really helps.👍👍

Like others it caused me to pick up the guitar and play along, thank you. I don't know if I'm at this level but great explanations and I was able to follow along and understand what you were talking about. I may pick up your lessons for a month like you mentioned. Watch out for the storms and I will look for your next video.

There really isn't much with intermediate guitar lessons online. This is the first one I've found. That being said, this is an excellent video with great tips. However, I suck...lol When I try to do these cords all of the strings sound muted. I'm a lefty learning to play right handed and I do have a lot of issues with muting notes. That being said, I'll keep trying until I get it right. Thank you for sharing this. You sound fantastic.

Always wondered what makes an augmented Chord then stumbled across Rick Beato saying you basically sharpen the 5th note, great, but that got me wondering what other little nuggets of information may help me when i see unusual chords (to me anyway) such as diminished. For your next Q+A could you provide a kind of audio 'cheat sheet' to help me quickly figure out some of these less used chords. Thanks Sean, much appreciated.

I can so relate to the smashed fingernail. I have one like it. BUT don't be like Kevin, I am currently laid up with COVID. Your new lesson is my first dive back into life. I do look forward to your slice of life practical guitar/performer lessons. Say "Hi" to Andrea for me. Thank you.
